There must be an easier way to fit an aftermarket wheel to an airbag car than I had today.
Had to make up bits to fit as horn wouldn't work, pin at bottom of boss touches nothing live or earth to make horn work.
Ended up removing spring ribbon and grinding out come plastic from the square control unit at the top of cowling, made new wire to pass up through wheel and hey presto horn works,

But is there an easier way to fit a mono to an airbag car?
Here is the wheel fitted to a non airbag Audi
See how the cowling is neat with no extra bits

Here it is fitted to my coupe, (airbag car)
Now look at top of my cowling, has a funny square thing that the horn and airbag wires pass through
